'Tremembé' é indicada a prêmio LGBT internacional

A produção brasileira Tremembé, do Amazon Prime, foi indicada ao Dorian TV Awards, prêmio anual entregue pela Galeca, sigla da associação de críticos LGBT de entretenimento dos Estados Unidos.

Tremembé disputa melhor produção de TV LGBT em língua não-inglesa com O Namorado, Chosen Home e The Summer Hikaru Died, da Netflix, e Go For It, Nakamura-kun!, da Crunchyroll.

Criada por Ulisses Campbell e dirigida por Vera Egito, a série tem foco em criminosos famosos detidos no presídio de Tremembé, no interior paulista, e mostra relacionamentos homossexuais, como os de Suzane von Richtofen (Marina Ruy Barbosa) e Sandrão (Letícia Rodrigues) e Cristian Cravinhos (Kelner Macedo) e Duda (João Pedro Mariano).

Hacks lidera as indicações da 17ª edição do prêmio totalizando oito em cinco categorias: melhor comédia, melhor série LGBT, melhor roteiro, melhor atuação em comédia (Jean Smart) e melhor atuação coadjuvante em comédia (Leslie Bibb, Paul W. Downs, Hannah Einbinder e Meg Stalter).

Depois aparece Rivalidade Ardente com sete: melhor drama, melhor série LGBT, melhor roteiro, melhor atuação em drama (Connor Storrie e Hudson Williams), melhor atuação coadjuvante em drama (François Arnaud) e série de TV visualmente mais impressionante.

O prêmio não inclui apenas produções de temática arco-íris. Ele engloba qualquer produção feita para TV ou streaming. O diferencial é que todos os votantes são críticos LGBT.

Na categoria específica de melhor série LGBT disputam com as duas acima The Comeback e Pela Metade, da HBO Max, e Pluribus, da Apple TV.
